With the initiation of ENFIA (Unified Property Tax) according to Law 4223/2013, for every property transfer, a certificate containing the complete details of the property is required. Each certificate is assigned a unique number for use by the notary.
The information included in the certificate is sourced from the taxpayer's property status (E9 declaration). A crucial element for the certificate issuance is the Property Identification Number (ATAK).
The certificate covers the past five years if the property was under the taxpayer's possession, or the years it was in their possession (e.g., 4 years or fewer).

Who the ENFIA Certificate Concerns

The aforementioned ENFIA certificate is required by the notary for the completion of property transfer, along with other necessary documentation.

Therefore, collaboration between the notary and the tax consultant is necessary to ensure that the description and details of the property on the certificate and the E9 declaration correspond to the ownership titles based on which the transfer is carried out.

For the issuance of the certificate, a specified reason for the request (e.g., parental provision, transfer due to compelling reasons, etc.) is additionally required.
